The Head of Health Office of Paluta dr. Sri Prihatin KN Harahap, Head of Portibi Sub-District represented by several PKK women from the Sub-District Office, Head of Portibi District Health Center Yunita Ramadona Harahap, Bhabin Kamtibmas M Hakim Harahap, Babinsa Komaruddin Siregar, head of Aek Haruaya Village Adenan Naposo Siregar with head of PKK Village Aek Haruaya Mrs. Nurkhotni harahap, and village head of Sofyan Siregar.
This activity was held in the office building of the Aek Haruaya village meeting hall, as many as 110 toddlers received Polio drops and were given gifts of beautiful balloons and green bean porridge and various kinds of cakes.
In his remarks, Adenan Siregar said that the national immunization week (PIN) was a program from the government to prevent wild polio virus, especially for the village area of Aek Haruaya.
National Immunization Week (PIN) is a week where every toddler including newborns residing in Indonesia is immunized with polio vaccine, regardless of previous immunization status, immunization is given 2 times, 2 drops each with an interval of one month, polio immunization simultaneously against all targets will accelerate the termination of the wild polio virus life cycle he concluded.
Head of Health Dr. Sri Prihatin said that we shouldn’t waste this opportunity, because this government program is very important for the health of our toddlers.
Mothers should never be lazy to bring their toddlers to Posyandu, keep the health workers and always take care of the health of all family members, she concluded. (Ikh/BS)
