Rashford: Barcelona are a great team

Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford praised his opponent during their Europa League play-off away match against Barcelona.

Manchester United conceded an early goal to Marcos Alonso in the second half. But two minutes later Rashford equalized.

Seven minutes later, Kunde’s own goal gave United the lead. However, Rafinha scored and the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

The match is now played again at Old Trafford a week later.

Rashford, who scored at the Nou Camp, holds the record for most goals in the season. However, he expressed regret about returning without winning the first leg against Barcelona.

Rashford said in an interview with BT Sports:

“The first half went in the opponent’s favor. I played well, but I feel like I lost.”
