During an interview for Sports Illustrated, Jay White spoke about his future after his loss during Loser Leaves Japan.
He tells us :
“So many things are possible. Impact, AEW, WWE, we’ll see. I’m at peace with it all. I don’t know if I could do better. I don’t feel like I left a bunch of boxes unchecked. I fought for this, so it can be hard to realize all of this in the moment, but as I moved forward I started to look back and realize the weight of it all.
Over time, I hope people will appreciate it even more. For me, I was doing what I was supposed to do. Now I look to the future. I can’t go back to Japan, but nothing says that I can’t participate in shows in the United States. Hikuleo was everything I ever knew he was. I always believed in him. I’m proud of him, and his time has come against me, so now we’re bound together forever.”
We will therefore have to wait to know the next destination of Jay White after the end of his contract which should happen between the holding of the PPV Battle In The Valley this February 18 and WrestleMania 39 in April.
A PPV in San José for the NJPW of which you can find the card right here and during which we could perhaps attend the last match with the NJPW in the USA of Jay White against Eddie Kingston.
