Founders and CEOs Son of Delta Sidoarjo Muhammad become a member Exco PSSI 2023-2027. He brought the addition of the level of football competition.
Muhammad became one of the most vote winners. In the first round of selecting members of the Executive Committee (Exco), there were seven elected candidates who would occupy positions as Exco PSSI for the next period.
They are Eko Setiawan, Endri Erawan, Juni Rahman, Muhammad, Rudi Julianto, Sumardji, and Vivin Cahyani Sungkono. During this first round, Muhammad got 56 votes, in second place was Eko Setiawan with a capital of 52 votes.
Then, Rudi Julianto who got 51 votes. Then, there were Endri Erawan and Juni Rahman who received the same votes, namely 49. Followed by Vivin Cahyani Sungkono with 47 votes and lastly there was Sumardji with 44 votes.
Muhammad admitted that he was impressed with the voters who trusted him and were responsible for carrying out his duties as Exco PSSI 2023-2027.
“I didn’t expect voter friends to trust the young ones. In the future, we will further advance Indonesian football,” said Muhammad.
For information, Deputy CEO of Kalteng Putra FC, Rahmat Hamka, is one of the figures who played a role in encouraging Muhammad to run for the Exco PSSI 2023-2027.
Meanwhile, Muhammad revealed that he would revive the Amateur League Agency which had previously been running. This was done to make the Amateur League competition more competitive.
“In the near future, I will add the league. Because I think, League 3 every year there are probably almost eight thousand people playing. So, we will add strata,” said Muhammad explaining his program.
Meanwhile, in the second round, five candidates were selected to fill the PSSI Exco bench, namely Ahmad Riyadh (54 votes) and Arya Sinulingga (58 votes). Then, Khaerul Anwar (56 votes), Hasnuryadi Sulaiman (48), and Pieter Tanuri (60).
In the 2023 KLB, a new PSSI general chairman, Erick Thohir, was also appointed. For the two PSSI deputy chairmen who were elected, namely Ratu Tisha Destria and Zainudin Amali.
