Almost eleven days after earthquakes still people pulled alive from under rubble | Earthquake Syria and Turkey

Turkish rescuers have pulled a 12-year-old boy alive from under the rubble in the earthquake zone, who had been there for 260 hours. A 42-year-old woman was also pulled from the rubble. That happened 257 hours after the first earthquake.

The rescue of the 12-year-old boy took place in Hatay province, which has been hit hard by the earthquakes. The 42-year-old woman was rescued in Kahramanmaras province, the news agency reports Anadolu.

The woman was taken to hospital. It is not known whether this also applies to the boy.

The chance that people are still alive from under the rubble is getting smaller and smaller. Nine days after the earthquakes, a Dutch team managed to pull four survivors out from under the rubble. Other rescue teams have also succeeded in recent days.
