The “Education” trade union called on Asen Vassilev to resign from the leadership position in PP.
This happened because of his remark on the air of BTV. There he explained “that it is normal that we do not have normal teachers in the schools and now new personnel are just entering”.
“Bulgarian teachers, Mr. Asen Vassilev, did not for a moment feel care and partnership during your administration! You pointed out that they work the least in Europe, You told them that they work of poor quality, You ordered them to engage in politics and you forbade them by law, convincing them that politics and politicians are something vicious and not for teachers.
From there, they recall that even the last two increases in teachers’ salaries from last year did not take place according to the proposals of “We continue the change”. “The first was enshrined in the law, and the second was at the suggestion of another party. We remind you, Mr. Asen Vassilev, that the government that ruled before you doubled teachers’ salaries, and this increase was defaced through the fault of your administration!” , the position says.
Trade union “Education” believes that, for this reason, Asen Vassilev does not have the expertise to speak about Bulgarian education, about Bulgarian teachers, and even less about their “normality” and appearance.
