The man beat the victim to death, according to the prosecutor’s office
A 47-year-old man is going to court for the murder of the 58-year-old woman with whom he lived on a family basis, the prosecutor’s office announced. The brutal crime was committed on August 7, 2022 in Sopot. The woman was hit multiple times on the head. The two often consumed alcohol and scandals arose between them, the prosecution also reported.

On the evening of August 6, the two visited an acquaintance in Sopot, where they drank again. At midnight they started to go home. The woman moved with difficulty and this angered the man. On the way he started insulting her by punching and kicking her on the head and body. The woman suffered serious injuries and died near the city’s stadium. The next morning, a man who was going to work saw her and called 112. The accused is under permanent arrest. The District Court is yet to schedule a hearing on the case.
