Sharon Stone’s younger brother, Patrick, died at the age of 57, writes “People”.
The actress confirmed her brother’s death late Monday, sharing a photo of them together on Instagram.
“Rest in peace Patrick Joseph Stone,” she wrote.
Previously, in a video, she talked about her great loss.
“We truly lost my brother Patrick Joseph Stone to a heart attack yesterday.”, she said through tears. “Like any family, we thank you for your love and support during this time of immeasurable grief and appreciate all of your condolences. Yes, we have had a huge loss over the last few years, as many of you have too. And we fully understand that the losses are ours here on Earth. We just ask that you continue to be good. Thank you”.
Patrick was the father of Stone’s nephew River, who died in 2021 from “total organ failure” at the age of 11 months.
Patrick’s wife mourned her husband on Sunday, telling loved ones on social media that he had died in the early hours of the morning.
“My heart feels like it’s been ripped out of my chest. Patrick flew to our sweet River around 3:30 this morning. I don’t know what else to say, he was my world,” said his wife, Tasha. She comments that her life with Patrick has been wonderful and she hopes that she and River are now having a good time in heaven.
In September 2021, Sharon Stone shared: “My nephew managed to save three lives – two babies and a 45-year-old man. I can only say that you never, never know if tragedy is going to happen in your life or in your family, but this opportunity to be an organ donor, it saved us, it saved our family.”.
