In a spirit of citizen participation to municipal and local life, to continue to design Dijon together, Francois Rebsamenmayor of Dijon (Côte-d’Or), president of Dijon metropolis, invites Dijonnaises and Dijonnais to the presentation of the budgetary choices made in 2023 at a public meeting.
The latter is planned for the States room in the town hall of Dijon this Thursday, February 23 from 7 p.m.
A budget of 269.5 million euros
Le vote du budget is an essential time in municipal life and reminds us that the major role of local authorities is, at their level, to act locally for the well-being of the inhabitants.
On January 30, the municipal council adopted the budget of the City of Dijon, for a total amount of 269.5 million euroswith an increased level of investment of 64 million euros, the continued deleveraging of the local authority since 2008 and the stability of the city’s tax rates for the 7th consecutive year.
This budget is structured around the priorities defined in the programme municipal 2020-2026 : ecological transition and the fight against climate change, solidarity and social action, the attractiveness of the regional capital and its influence, the embellishment of public space and the modernization of its connected management, the improvement of the daily lives of citizens, users and users and the strengthening of public tranquility and the safety of inhabitants.
