Despite his controversial remarks on the vaccination of children, the suspension of Patrick Provost by Laval University is “abusive”, denounce more than 280 professors. Faced with what they consider to be an attack on academic freedom, they claim to be self-censoring and no longer feel able to work “in a serene manner” within the walls of the University.
