India is a Hindu nation; Even the pilgrim is addressed as a Hindu – Yogi Adityanath

New Delhi: UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reiterated that India is a Hindu nation. He said that India is a Hindu nation and everyone in the country is a Hindu.

Yogi’s controversial remark was made in an interview given to a private news channel. Yogi Adityanath has also shared this video on Twitter. The video has been shared with the title that India was and will always remain a Hindu nation.

Yogi was responding to a question about strategic interventions for Hindu Rashtra. He also said that India should become Akhand Bharat.

Yogi Adityanath can be seen in the video saying that Pakistan will slowly merge with India and with this the country will become a single Bharat.

‘Hindu identity is not related to any religion or caste. Rather, it is a cultural identity. If someone from India goes to perform Hajj, address him as Hindu there. No one sees him as a haji. No one accepts him as Islam. He is Hindu. India is a Hindu nation. Because every citizen is a Hindu,’ says Yogi Adityanath.

At the same time, Hindutvadis destroyed a mosque under construction in Banda district of U.P. The Bajrang Dal-VHP workers attacked the mosque citing that the construction was illegal. The group alleged that permission was given only for renovation of the mosque and not for new constructions. It is reported that the attacks took place while the police officers were watching.
