Jakarta –
ChatGPTan artificial intelligence or AI chatbot developed by OpenAI gaining popularity because of its sophistication. But who would have thought, ChatGPT was called a bad product by the creators themselves.
Sam Altmann as the CEO of OpenAI said that there are still many shortcomings in ChatGPT, from the simple design to the frequent error messages that appear to reduce comfort. “ChatGPT is a bad product. It wasn’t really designed to be used,” he was quoted as saying detikINET from Business Today.
Even though they are able to write good and coherent answers, sometimes the information presented by ChatGPT is still not quite right. The experience of using it is also not consistent. “People use the site that sometimes it works well and sometimes it’s down,” Altman said.
“They type something, they try to get it right, then copy that answer and paste it somewhere else, then go back and try to integrate it with search results or something,” Altman said.
“It’s really cool. And people really like it, which makes us very happy. But there’s nothing to say this is a great product and well integrated, more a version 0.7 than version 1.0,” he explained.
A similar opinion was recently expressed by one of the founders of OpenAi, Greg Bockman. “None of us are really into ChatGPT. None of us said it was really useful,” said Greg.
Of course ChatGPT is still a new product and will continue to be developed until it is more qualified. Even though there are still various shortcomings, the fans have exploded and have reached around 100 million active users each month, in just two months since its release.
