The Kaiyi E5, which is tipped to replace the Hyundai Elantra, is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 156 horsepower, which is familiar to Russians from the Chery and Exeed models. The fact is that the Kaiyi brand is the former “daughter” of Chery, and now de jure an independent Chinese company that has entered into a partnership agreement with the Avtotor plant.
