Actress assault case: Dileep’s affidavit in Supreme Court not to re-examine Manju Warrier

Kochi | Dileep has asked Manju Warrier not to be examined as a witness again in the actress assault case. Don’t question Kavya Madhavan’s parents either. In the affidavit filed in the Supreme Court, Dileep stated that the reasons given by the prosecution for the hearing are false.

There are moves to delay the trial. The prosecution is seeking re-examination of Kavya Madhavan’s father and mother to prolong the trial. A bench headed by Justice Dinesh Maheshwari will consider Dileep’s arguments on Friday.

The prosecution approached the trial court seeking re-examination of Manju Warrier to identify the voices of Dileep, his brother, sister and brother-in-law in the voice clip produced by Balachandra Kumar.

The forensic report on the voice clips is under consideration of the trial court. The prosecution wanted to question Kavya’s father Madhavan to know about the opening of the locker in the Federal Bank.
