Four people died in a chain accident on the old road Varna – Devnya, informed by the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city, quoted by BTA.
The tragic accident happened this morning about 300 meters before the junction for Povelyanovo. Two other people were injuredwho are hospitalized.
Two cars and one truck were involved in the traffic accident.
The Road Infrastructure Agency informs that the traffic at km 182 (after the Povelyanovo branch) on the I-2 road is temporarily restricted. Traffic is carried out via a detour route: AM “Hemus” – p.v. Devnya – p.v. Sunny.
Later, the District Prosecutor’s Office – Varna announced that it was launched an investigation in connection with the serious accident. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case. Forensic and auto-technical examinations are to be appointed.
Work on clarifying the details of the incident continues under the guidance of the prosecutor’s office.
