The Estimates Department of the Meteorological Authority in Lebanon expected in the evening weather bulletin that volatile and relatively cold weather will dominate Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean tomorrow, Wednesday, to return and stabilize on Thursday, and an area of high air pressure will dominate until the end of the week.
And it warned of the danger of slipping on mountain and internal roads due to the formation of snow in the morning and evening.
The expected weather in Lebanon:
Wednesday: Partly cloudy with a slight decrease in temperatures, which are below their seasonal rates. Drizzle is expected to fall sporadically at times, especially in the northern and interior regions, with some light snow on heights above 1,000 meters. Fog will also form on the heights, starting in the afternoon.
Thursday: Slightly cloudy to partly cloudy with a slight rise in temperatures that remain below their seasonal rates. Fog continues to appear on the heights and snow forms on the internal and mountain roads that are more than 1,000 meters and above during the night and early morning hours.
Friday: Mostly clear with an additional rise in temperatures, and snow continues to form on the mountain and internal roads, starting from a height of 1200 meters and above, during the night and early morning hours.
Saturday: Clear to few clouds, with temperatures continuing to rise, which return to their seasonal rates.
