Early this morning, several dozen parents of students gathered to blockade the Gustave-Courbet nursery school in the Valdegour district of Nîmes. Fearing the closure of a small and medium section class, they prevented the children from going to school.
“A closure would lead to an overload of students. At that age, they need to be taken care of in good conditions, especially in a school located in an REP+ zone like this one. Some students do not speak the language well , others need attention more than others”assures a parent of a student present this morning who regrets having learned late about the closure of this class.
