For two weeks, the New York flagship store on Greene Street will be a mix of gallery and community space in the spirit of Stanton.
After stops in Milan and Tokyo, the traveling exhibition “Acne Studios Loves Larry Stanton”, which started in November, makes its last and perhaps most important stop in the hometown of the artist, who died in 1984: New York City. Since February 9th, visitors to Acne Studios’ flagship store on Greene Street in Soho have been able to view Larry Stanton’s work.
The project was created in partnership with the organization Visual AIDS after Stanton’s work was featured in the last edition of the Acne Paper
