Songs and games for the little ones
The further training with the Frankfurt children’s songwriter and teacher Georg FERRI Feils is aimed at educators as well as interested parents who would like to get suggestions for musical activities with children between the ages of 2 and 4. It is an undisputed fact that has been confirmed in many scientific studies that musical activities such as singing, dancing and playing instruments are extremely beneficial for the development of language and intelligence, motor skills and fine motor skills, communication in general, especially pre- and non-verbal Communication, sensorimotor functions and sensory perception of the environment. How anyone with small children can make music can be experienced in practice in this course. The participants get to know a variety of simple and simplest finger plays and sound gesture songs. They deal with movement and perception games, which train the ear in particular. They try out rhythmic speech games and noise stories and learn how to accompany songs with instruments in the simplest possible way. Children love rituals and repetition. A special focus is therefore on getting to know songs and games that can be used, for example, to accompany greetings and farewells, getting to know names, birthdays and meals, periods of rest and going to bed. Most of the material is new, but traditional songs and games are not neglected either, and anything the participants can or want to contribute to the topic is welcome.
