For PSG superstar Neymar (31), things aren’t really going well either on or off the pitch…
After the bitter 3-1 defeat against Monaco in the league and before the Champions League cracker against Bayern on Tuesday (9 p.m.), the Brazilian is now in real trouble.
Because as “Le Parisien” reports, Neymar is threatened with expulsion – not from his club Paris St. Germain, but from his place of residence Bougival!
Reason: Neymar celebrates too often, too loudly and without regard for his neighbors. That’s why residents of Neymar’s luxury villa in the 9,000-strong town of Bougival (about 15 kilometers west of Paris) have repeatedly complained to the police and Mayor Luc Wattelle.
It was only at his birthday party last weekend that the police received several calls from harassed neighbors because the eccentric striker loudly celebrated his day of honor at least until “5 a.m.”. And that shouldn’t have been an isolated case…
Therefore, the mayor is now threatening criminal prosecution and also a possible city ban for the noble technician.
Wattelle told Le Parisien: “At some point we will open a case before the public prosecutor for repeated disturbances of public order.”
And further: “Neymar celebrates without respect to his neighbors. Also at his birthday party: It wasn’t just background noise, it was incredibly annoying.”
Since moving from Barça to Paris in 2017, the €222m kicker has lived in a 5,000 square meter party palace with five floors – enough space for big parties!
And in recent years, Neymar has been annoying his neighbors with extensive birthday parties and spontaneous parties after important victories for his club Paris St. Germain.
So often that Neymar has been fined €135 in fines by local police multiple times.
With an estimated annual salary of 58 million euros, however, absolute peanuts for the superstar. Now, however, he is threatened with being banned from the city.
And for Neymar, with a view to the miserable results, it’s probably time to throw a party ON the pitch against Bayern…
