Christoph Weber (38), currently Marketing Director at Mars, will be appointed Chief Marketing Officer at the Bitburger Brewery Group from May 1, 2023. In the future, Christoph Weber will be responsible for the Bitburger, König and Köstritzer brands across the group and will report directly to the management of the Bitburger Brewery Group.
“We are very pleased to be able to win a very experienced and accomplished expert from the FMCG sector for our company in Christoph Weber,” explains Human Resources Managing Director Dr. Stephen Schmitz.
Weber has held various management positions for the international food group Mars for over 14 years. The Oxford graduate has been responsible for the national marketing department of Mars Germany since 2019 and led the digital transformation of marketing there Windau relinquished management on January 1, 2023.
