If you think that outer space is a silent place without any kind of conflict, you are wrong. In early 2022, former US Air Force Major Even Rogers hired a startup to resolve orbital warfare conflicts. With a new report, it is speculated that a space war is right around the corner.

The company began to prepare for a first orbital performance.
The information was made public with the registration of a report by the US Federal Communications Commission. The startup, True Anomaly, should launch two spaceships with orbital pursuit function later this year.
What will they do in space?
The aircraft will be launched by a Jackal aboard a rocket from SpaceX.
They will use a technology to secure territory, as they will be able to carry out proximity encounter operations. This means they will have the ability to maneuver close to other satellites.
A practical use of this type of mission is to reveal surveillance systems and weapons. In addition, they can also intercept communications; however, none of this is in the plans of the Air Force.
At first, the mission will only be spying, using radars, cameras and thrusters.
Is it too early to talk about space warfare?
Perhaps yes, after all, the startup has not yet given any indication of having the development of weapons for war in its plans, but Rogers has made recent publications that suggest that there is a path that can lead to a conflict.
“Tactically disabling enemy spacecraft can be the difference between losing an entire Carrier Strike Group or surviving… And there are many ways to destroy spacecraft that don’t ruin the environment. After all, they are just floating computers.”
