There are many tragic stories that shocked the whole world during the past days, with the recovery of the bodies of the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck southeastern Turkey and northern Syria, leaving thousands of victims.
However, in the midst of that disaster, scenes appeared at times that opened the energy of hope and brought back a fleeting smile to the lips of thousands of Syrians.
Among them is the story of the young Hamido Al-Mousa. The young man in his twenties, who stayed for 3 days under the rubble, amazed the rescue workers in Adana, Turkey, when he asked them, after they heard his voice and reached him, for tea!
While the rescue workers were trying to extract him and talk to him, he asked them for tea and sugar.
This prompted a number of activists on the communication sites to share the video, commenting on it as having a “mood”.
In the context, his uncle, Hassan Al-Mousa, told Al-Arabiya.net that Hamidou was transferred to the government hospital in Adana. However, he indicated that his mother and sister were still under the rubble.
However, the end was not happy for the Syrian young man, despite his arrival at the hospital, as he passed away yesterday evening, according to what his uncle announced.
It is noteworthy that the number of earthquake victims rose today, Sunday, to about 30,000 people, 24,617 of them in Turkey, and more than 5,200 in all Syrian regions, amid expectations that it will reach 40,000.
