Mercy Presents the New G-Class in RI, What’s the news that’s already pivoted?

Jakarta

Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia (MBDI) brought the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Edition 53 to Indonesia in limited quantities and became a special line. Then what will happen to the ‘standard’ G-Class buyers who have been pivoting for a long time?

The G-Class, which is an iconic jeep from Mercedes-Benz, is known to have many fans in Indonesia. This is what makes the waiting time to get so long.

“Frankly, there are a lot of G Class fans in Indonesia. But due to allocation or supply constraints, that was very limited in previous years,” said Hari Arfianto Deputy Director of Sales Operations & Product Management of MBDI.

But the good news is that Mercedes-Benz has prepared sufficient stock allocations to meet the previous G-Class pivot quota.

In fact, according to Mercedes-Benz, 2023 is the right year to buy the G-Class because the chances of getting it are greater.

“But you said earlier that for this year we have also managed to secure sufficient allocations. So we can very much welcome if there are G-Class enthusiasts who have not gotten their units this year. The chance is greater to get a G-Class unit that is I’ve been waiting for it,” he continued.

Interestingly, Mercedes-Benz stated that currently the G-Class G 63 Edition 53 that they just launched is still in stock status. The car, which was imported directly from Austria, was present in 20 units.

“We brought in only 20 units of this vehicle and there were only 2 color choices, namely Obsidian Black (black) and Polar White (white),” said Michael Purba as the Dept. Manager Fleet Used Car Diplomatic and TEV MBDI.

Mercedes-Benz sells this special car at a price of IDR 6.450 billion in off the road status. The 20 units sold consisted of 11 black units and 9 white units.

Edition 53 in the latest G-Class Mercedes-Benz Indonesia, marks 53 years of work for this German manufacturer in Indonesia. This iconic jeep comes with a number of differences, one of which is the 53rd Edition emblem on the dashboard.
