Looking for two people in the lake on Karmøy
The search for two people who have not been accounted for in the sea at Åkrehamn on Karmøy is ongoing from night to Sunday, reports the police in Sør-Vest.
– The search is carried out by helicopter, divers and boats. It is unclear how they ended up in the water, but there has been an event in the area, Roger Litlatun, operations manager in the Sør-West police district, tells NRK.
The emergency services responded to reports of a person in the water. It turned out that three people had ended up in the water. One person has been picked up.
– He is unharmed, but will be sent to the emergency department for a check-up, says the operations manager.
