Video conferencing solutions maker NEARITY has unveiled the flagship model of the NEARITY A50 ceiling array microphone family, capable of delivering high quality audio for in-person and remote events in rooms of all sizes.

The 91-element Ceiling Microphone Array A50 generates up to 12 audio beams and can be used in auditoriums and conference rooms of various architectures and layouts for local conferences or events with remote participation.
The A50 capture radius is 8 m. Using Daisy-Chain technology, up to eight A50 devices connected in series using Ethernet cables can be combined into one system, which allows the A50 to be used in large meeting rooms and conference rooms with different location of meeting participants.
The A50 ceiling array is powered by the AMX100 high-performance digital signal processor (DSP), which uses proprietary NEARITY technologies. With extensive integration options, AMX100 allows you to connect speakers through the Phoenix Connector. The processor also has linear 3.5 mm inputs and outputs, RJ-45 ports for connecting a remote control and a microphone, as well as USB-A and USB-B ports.
Interfacing with the AMX100 DSP provides the A50 microphone array with high functionality, including background and spurious noise suppression, intelligent reverb and echo cancellation, two-way audio, automatic audio level control, and adaptive pickup beam switching.
The DSP also provides power to microphone arrays using POE (Power over Ethernet) technology, making it easier to install devices and connect them to the mains. The scope of delivery includes special ceiling mounts. VESA type brackets are also available.

You can order the A50 ceiling microphone array from the Russian partners of NEARITY, the company “Marvel-Distribution“and companies”AVIKON GROUP“. This year NEARITY plans to launch the A40, a low-cost device for equipping meeting rooms and conference rooms. The A50 and A40 microphones will be available in two colors – black and white.
