“The distribution of anti-mosquito nets was distributed free of charge to the community in a number of villages which are in the working area of the Penuba Health Center integrated service unit,” explained Herman, Head of the Penuba Health Center, on Saturday (11/02/2023).

The activity was carried out for three days from 10 February to 12 February 2023, located in Penuba Village, Pantai Harapan Village, Penuba Timur Village and Selayar Village.
Head of the Penuba Health Center Herman said, The distribution of mosquito nets is one of the efforts of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia through the government to anticipate or reduce the transmission of dengue fever and malaria in the regions, because the use of mosquito nets is considered effective in providing protection to the public from the bites of the transmitting Anopheles mosquito. malaria.
“To prevent malaria we distribute mosquito nets to groups of people, there are 2 mosquito nets for one family,” Herman concluded.
