Aldo dominated much of the dispute. The Brazilian had more volume and landed good blows, building his advantage round after round, without giving many chances to the Argentine fighter, who resisted the attacks well, but did not pose much danger to the former UFC and WEC champion.

The fight went to the judges’ decision and Aldo took the unanimous victory (60-54, 59-55 and 60-54).

– Zambrano is very tough, I fit several hard hands, but the job was well done. I trained for seven months straight to put on this show for the guys. It was a special night – thrilled the Brazilian.

José Aldo’s next challenge in boxing is already scheduled. He will face Jeremy Stephens at Gamebred Boxing 4, on April 1st, in the United States.
