Battle maps – Russian troops are trying to deprive Bakhmut of messages

Luhansk direction: Russian troops are slowly advancing towards Belogorovka

On February 10, the invaders continued their offensive operations northwest of Svatovo. According to the General Staff of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of Russian troops in the area of the settlements of Gryanikovka (54 km northwest of Svatovo) and Masyutovka (51 km northwest of Svatovo) in the Kharkiv region, as well as Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region (15 km to west of Svatovo).

The RF Ministry of Defense stated that they occupied Dvurechnoye, Kharkiv region (53 km north-west of Svatovo), although ISW experts did not find any visual confirmation of this statement.

It is likely that the invaders are concentrating forces northwest of Svatovo and likely intend to capture Dvurechnoe in the coming weeks. The settlement is located at the intersection of the P79 highway leading southwest to Kupyansk, and the T2114 highway leading northwest to Veliky Burluk.

In addition, Russian forces continued offensive operations in the Kremennaya area. According to Russian bloggers, the invaders continue positional offensive operations in the area of Belogorovka (12 km south of Kremennaya). However, ISW did not record any visual evidence of the presence of Russian forces in Belogorovka.

Donetsk direction: invaders are trying to cut the roads leading to Bakhmut

The occupiers do not stop ground attacks around Bakhmut. Russian sources claimed that they took control of the highways T0504 Konstantinovka – Chasov Yar – Bakhmut and E40 Bakhmut – Slavyansk.

Several bloggers claimed that Wagner PMC militants broke through the Ukrainian defensive lines in the direction of Stupotsky (about 12 km west of Bakhmut). Russian sources also reported heavy fighting north of Bakhmut along the E40 highway.

Also on February 10, the invaders attempted an offensive in the Avdiivka-Donetsk region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of Russian troops in the area of Avdeevka and Krasnogorovka. The Ukrainian military also repulsed the advance of Russian troops near Prechistovka (35km southwest of Donetsk).

Southern direction: the invaders are pushing the forces of PMC “Wagner” to the Zaporozhye region

According to Russian media, the invaders attacked Novodanilovka, Zaporozhye region. The Russian source also complained that the Russian troops stopped their offensive in the Zaporozhye direction after successes for which they were not ready.

It was also reported that Wagner fighters were transferred to Mirne, Zaporozhye region, to make up for combat losses. Thus, the Russian command is trying to push the forces of PMCs into areas deprived of priority on the front line.
