A trail of blood and pools of blood, a name written in blood on a dirt road, but no sign of a possible casualty. A strange case near Bad Driburg in NRW is currently occupying the investigators of the criminal police.
A walker made the gruesome discovery on Wednesday morning on a dirt road near Bad Driburg-Alhausen (Höxter district in North Rhine-Westphalia). Suddenly there was a conspicuous lettering on the street: “Gregor” could be read there in large red letters.
Since the man thought the color looked suspiciously like blood and there were other pools of it nearby, he informed the police. And right: After investigations it turned out that it was actually human blood – from an unknown male person.

The police then searched the area for a possibly helpless person, and a police helicopter and a search dog were also deployed. However, without success, even inquiries at surrounding hospitals brought no results.
