A large fire is raging at waste processor Renewi on Vareseweg at North West Business Park. There was an automatic fire alarm around 7:30 p.m., after which the fire brigade went to look. When they arrived there was a lot of smoke. Rotterdam The Hague Airport has also been informed about the smoke. The location of the fire is in line with the runway of the airport. More later.
