The authority indicated that these figures “should remind us that this continues to be a serious and eventually fatal disease.”
Cuadrado added that given the unpredictable behavior of the virus, one should arrive better prepared and protected for the winter months. For this reason, he reiterated that it is important that the population have their full vaccination schedule and self-care measures are maintained.
