NG Biotech, the Breton ace of rapid tests

Back to normal for NG Biotech after two years of meteoric growth linked to its mobilization against the Covid. First in France to develop a rapid serological test to identify if someone is or has been in contact with the virus from a simple drop of blood, the small Breton rapid test company, founded in 2012 by Milovan Stankov , his son Milovan Stankov-Pugès and Alain Calvo, has been able to work with many supports (Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany Pays de Loire region, BPI, the Ministry of Defence, etc.) to increase its production capacities from the summer 2020.

« Between March and June2020, in full confinement, we set up a second factory in Guipry and quintupled our workforce with two external service providers “says the young CEO, Milovan Stankov-Pugès. With funding from France Relance, NG Biotech has relocated to Brittany from 2021 the production of plastic parts for its boxes. And for distribution in pharmacies, the company which historically provided antibiotic resistance tests (to assess resistance to antibiotics) to hospital laboratories, relied on the wholesaler OCP and Boiron, knowing that the latter helped it to kitting.
