Russia has fired missiles at Ukraine / Diena

The administration of Kyiv region reports that air defense is working in the region, but explosions are heard in the capital itself.

Air defense is also working in Poltava, Mykolaiv, Odesa regions and other places.

Ukrainian officials report that Kalibr missiles were fired from ships in the Black Sea, as well as cruise missiles from Tu-95 bombers.

According to the company “Ukrenergo”, several energy objects were hit in the eastern, western and southern regions of Ukraine. For this reason, power supply was interrupted in some areas, energy experts report.

An air alert has been declared throughout Ukraine.

Russian forces fired rockets at the city of Zaporizhia on Friday night, the biggest attack on the city since the start of the war. The missile strike caused damage to Zaporizhia’s infrastructure facilities.

Also, missiles were fired at Kharkiv, causing damage to the infrastructure.

Yuriy Ikhnat, the representative of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that the Russian forces fired a record number of S-300 anti-aircraft missiles at Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions at night – 35.
