The fatal accident occurred at the Grogol flyover, West Jakarta. A motorcyclist died after crashing into a car Pajero broke down and fell and was run over by a tow truck.
The incident occurred on Wednesday (8/2/2023) at around 13.10 WIB. The victim, a motorcyclist named Didik Yulianto, died at the scene.

Accident Chronology
Head of West Jakarta Traffic Accident Unit AKP Agus Suwito explained that the accident started when the motorist, Didik Yulianto, was driving from the south to the north on Jalan Satria, Grogol, West Jakarta.
Arriving at the Grogol flyover, the motorbike crashed into a Pajero which was on strike.
“(The motorbike) hit the right rear body of the Pajero B-1641-BJT vehicle which was on strike,” Agus said when contacted Thursday (9/2).
The victim then fell to the right and was run over by a special vehicle (crane) numbered B-9145-TIB coming from his right.
“Then it fell to the right, was crushed by the left rear wheel of the B-9145-TIB special vehicle (trek) driven by Brother H, who was driving in the right direction,” Agus added.
Victims Killed at Location
As a result of this, the motorist was injured in the chest until he died. In addition, the vehicles involved were damaged.
“Damage to the vehicle involved, and the victim, a Honda PCX motorbike rider on behalf of Didik Yulianto, suffered a chest wound and died at the TKP, the body was evacuated to RSCM Ver. was requested,” he said.
