Proliga 2023 Results and Standings Recap: STIN BIN and Lavani Qualify for the Final Four Round

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Two men’s volleyball teams made it to the final four Proleague 2023 after winning on the first day of the second series of the second round at the Ken Arok Sports Hall, Malang, Thursday, 9 February 2023. Both are Singapore STIN BIN and Jakarta Lavani Allo Bank.

The two men’s teams followed the women’s team who had advanced earlier. Jakarta Pertamina Fastron has confirmed itself to be able to compete in the last four rounds since the first round of the second round.

Jakarta STIN BIN made sure to qualify for the 2023 Proliga final four after defeating Jakarta BNI 46 with a score of 3-1 (25-19, 19-25, 25-23, 25-19). This victory led them to the top of the standings, shifting back Jakarta’s Lavani Allo Bank who also won 3-1 over Surabaya BIN Samator.

STIN BIN scored 27 points from 11 matches, while Lavani collected 26 points from 10 matches. It is no longer possible for the scores of the two to be caught up by Jakarta BNI 46 which is in fifth position and has only scored 13 out of 10 matches.

For BNI 46, defeat in that match has not closed their chances of qualifying. With four matches left, they will still compete with other teams, namely Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi, Surabaya BIN Samator, Jakarta Pertamina Pertamax, and Palembang Bank SumselBabel.

So far, only Kudus Sukun Badak has been eliminated from the competition for the 2023 Proliga Final Four.
