Life Is Strange Devs Working On 2D Narrative Game Harmony: The Fall Of Reverie – Gaming – News

Don’t Nod, the developer behind Life Is Strange, is working on a new game. Harmony: The Fall of Reverie will be a 2D narrative game with a story that adapts to the choices players make. The title will be released in June for consoles and PC.

Don’t Nod announced the game recently announced during a Nintendo Direct presentation, although the game will also be released on other platforms. The game takes place in the near future, the studio reports. Players follow the story of Polly, who returns to the city of Alma after several years abroad. In the meantime, the city has been taken over by mega corporation MK, which controls the inhabitants of the city.

In the game Polly discovers that she is psychic. That gift connects her to the Reverie, where she gains insight into the desires of humanity: glory, happiness, power, chaos, connection and truth. Polly grows into the goddess Harmony, who can choose the desire that will ultimately rule the city of Alma. The story adapts to the desires Polly interacts with. Since Polly is clairvoyant, the game allows players to see the future and explore the consequences of their choices on a kind of game board.

Harmony: The Fall of Reverie will be released in June for Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. The developer has not yet announced a specific release date.
