Laura and Cathalijne wake up on sunny Tenerife. Love spills out. “With coffee and a nice woman,” says Laura, who then gives her lover a kiss. But they can’t enjoy their moment in bed for long, because an exciting hike awaits in the jungle of the Spanish island.
During the walk, the ladies are mainly concerned with themselves and they joke and joke in Dutch about the Spanish tour guide Carlos. “He is very nice. He tries very hard”, the girls laugh. “We are also doing our very best, but it is not working very well yet. We don’t really have a click yet,” say Cathalijne and Laura about Carlos.
On top of a mountain, the couple in love enjoys the view. But the happiness doesn’t last long. Carlos feels quite left out. He interrupts the romantic scene by telling a fact about the island. “We thought: let’s take a moment and sit down. He knew it was a honeymoon, right? And then he thought: they probably need more information,” Cathalijne screams. Laura in a sarcastic tone: “He’ll give us a moment, that’s nice.”
At the end of the day they have shaken off Carlos and go for a walk on the beach. “I’m happy with you,” says Cathalijne. “Me too with you”, Laura replies. The ladies think that it will go very well very soon and hope that it will not go too fast. They kiss romantically during the sunset.
“It’s very strange. We’ve only known each other for three days. And that we already have such a click and feel so familiar with each other. I really feel a bit jitters already. I’ve been in love before, but I think I I’ve never had anyone with whom I don’t have to walk on my toes,” says Laura about her wife. Cathalijne is also enthusiastic. “It just feels really good. I’m not used to it this way. It feels familiar.”
