As part of testing the new Galaxy S23 series, namely the best-equipped Galaxy S23 Ultra model, well-known YouTuber Marques Brownlee published a short video capturing the moon on the social network Twitter. This was a demonstration of the maximum 100x (digital) zoom, which only the Ultra model of the Galaxy S23 series can handle (the other Galaxy S23 phones offer a maximum of 30x zoom). In the video, we can see an impressive resulting image of the moon, although it must be added that Samsung is not the first to come up with this gadget and in the past we could already see it on some Chinese manufacturers, for example the Huawei P30 Pro, which was the first to introduce a 5x periscope telephoto lens.

In any case, the ability of the Galaxy S23 Ultra attracted so much attention that even Elon Musk noticed the post, who commented on it very briefly, but concisely. We don’t know if he is thinking about getting a Galaxy S23 Ultra, but at least in the past, Elon Musk has boasted that he uses iPhones, which he regularly changes and at the same time consistently pays attention to their “shredding”.
