About an hour before the Club World Cup semi-final match between Al-Ahly of Egypt and Real Madrid of Spain, Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, is witnessing a large crowd of fans.

The “Sky News Arabia” correspondent said that the Al-Ahly and Real Madrid buses arrived about an hour ago, under heavy security, and in rainy weather.

And he stated that the security authorities have intensified, since Wednesday morning, their deployment around the perimeter of the stadium and its various entrances, in order to ensure the provision of security and the organization of the entry process for fans.

He pointed out that the stadium doors were opened to the fans about 3 hours ago, while the match is expected to witness a large public presence.

Our correspondent noticed that the fans, who will attend the confrontation, are divided between Al-Ahly and Real Madrid fans.

An Egyptian fan told “Sky News Arabia”: “God willing, we will win today, and we thank the great Moroccan public for their kind reception and welcome.”

Another stated: “The reception in Morocco is wonderful, and the Moroccan people love Egypt..and I expect Al-Ahly to take advantage of the influential absences in Real Madrid, and our confidence is high in the players.”

On the other hand, one of the Moroccan fans of the Real Madrid team said: “I have been a Madridist since childhood, but today I decided to carry the emblem of the two teams, in order to express our thanks to the Egyptian people who encouraged Morocco in the 2022 World Cup.”
