Persons liable for military service began to arrive in Belarusian military units. This was announced today, February 8, in the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.
“Conscripts are arriving at a number of military units as part of the next stage of combat readiness checks, they said,” – said the press service of the Belarusian department.
At the same time, the Ministry of Defense stressed that “the event is planned.”
Recall that due to the difficult situation around Belarus, the number of military exercises and training camps has increased in the country. Earlier, the check of the combat readiness of the Belarusian army took place in December 2022, when individual units of the Armed Forces advanced to designated areas to carry out assigned tasks. In early February, the State Security Committee, with the participation of other law enforcement agencies, conducted counter-terrorism exercises in the Klichev district.
