Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia, the Asian champion, qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup final, after defeating Brazilian Flamengo, the South American champion, 3-2, in the semi-finals in Tangier, Morocco, on Tuesday.
Salem Al-Dosari scored two goals for Al-Hilal from two penalty kicks and set up the third goal for Argentine Luciano Vietto, while Pedro scored both goals for the Libertadores Cup champion.
Al-Hilal will meet in the final next Saturday with the winner of the other semi-final match that will bring together European champions Real Madrid and Al-Ahly of Egypt, the African runner-up, on Wednesday.
Flamengo will play for third place on the same day with the loser from Wednesday’s confrontation.
