Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department today amounted to more than two billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the registration of 519 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 1.61 billion dirhams, including 72 pledges of allegiance to lands, at a value of 561.25 million dirhams, and 447 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, at a value of 1.05 billion dirhams.
The most important land sales came with a value of 70 million dirhams in the fourth Al Thanyah area, followed by a pledge of 50 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, followed by a pledge of 45 million dirhams in the fourth Al Habiya area.
Al-Habibiyah 5th district topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, as it recorded 34 pledges at a value of 116 million dirhams, followed by Al Yafra 1, with 11 pledges at a value of 66 million dirhams, and a third in Jebel Ali, the first, with 7 pledges at a value of 24 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, the sale amounted to 156 million dirhams in the Business Bay area, as the most important sale, followed by the sale of 82 million dirhams in the Island 2 area, and finally the sale of 38 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area.
Al Barsha, south of the fourth district, topped the areas in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 86 sales, at a value of 60 million dirhams, followed by the Business Bay area, with 44 sales at a value of 230 million dirhams, and a third in Al Yalayis 2, with 38 sales at a value of 61 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 408.86 million dirhams, of which 14 land mortgages amounted to 284.42 million dirhams and 51 mortgages of villas and apartments amounted to 124.45 million dirhams.
As for the donations, 15 donations were registered, with a value of 23.09 million dirhams, the most important of which was in Al Thanyah Al-Rabea area, with a value of 6 million dirhams, and another in the Burj Khalifa area, with a value of 5 million dirhams.
