For the second week in a row, the special vaccination day against COVID-19 that took place in basic education schools in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area had a good response.
The brigades of the Jalisco Ministry of Health applied more than 2,500 vaccines last week in ten basic education schools. This adds up to 5,400 schoolchildren from five to eleven years old who have received their second dose of the Pfizer pediatric vaccine.
It is worth mentioning that the vaccine is also still available in health centers in the 125 municipalities of the state.
The goal is to apply 40 thousand vaccines in January and February. (By Claudia Manuela Pérez)
