The series of arrested drunk and drugged drivers in the Burgas region continues over the weekend. On Friday morning at k. “Copper Mine” driver a few drinks behind the wheel caused an accident. On Saturday afternoon, a drunken Kazakh man was stopped on the Burgas – Sozopol road, and his jeep turned out to have different license plates. Again, at the same time, on the highway in the direction of Sofia, a woman from Radnevo, drugged with amphetites, crashed. Today in Burgas, a driver from Yambol, who never had a driver’s license, crashed into a vegetable shop and endangered human lives. Drivers are definitely becoming more irresponsible on the road.
On Friday at around 8:50 a.m. in the area of the intersection of Georgi Papayanov and Apostol Voivoda Streets in the city of Burgas. “Meden Rudnik”, officers from the “Traffic Police” sector of the ODMVR – Burgas noticed a traffic accident between two cars. These were a Citroen Berlingo driven by a 55-year-old man and an Opel Vectra car with Burgas registration driven by a 46-year-old man. The two drivers were tested for the use of alcohol, and the sample of the 55-year-old man was positive – 1.38 per thousand. The driver is detained for up to 24 hours. Work on the case continues.

It was established that the placed registration plates were issued for another vehicle – a “Renault 19” passenger car, owned by a 45-year-old man from the village of Snyagovo. The driver was tested for the use of alcohol and drugs, and the first sample was positive – 1.14 per thousand. The Kazakh national was detained on a police detention order for a period of 24 hours. Again on Saturday around 3:00 p.m., officers from the “Road Police” sector at the ODMVR – Burgas, attending a report of an independent accident on the “Trakia” highway, km. 346 km. in the direction of Sofia, found that the driver of a passenger car “Volkswagen Golf 4”, with Stara Zagorje registration – a 30-year-old woman from Radnevo, tested positive for the use of narcotic substances and their analogues /amphetamine/. A blood sample was taken from the driver for chemical analysis. Work on the case continues.
