The UAE apologizes for hosting the West Asian Football Championship “surprisingly”

The UAE Football Association has suddenly apologized for hosting the tenth West Asian Championship for men, which was scheduled for March-April, according to what the West Asian Football Federation announced on Monday.

“The West Asian Federation received an official letter from the UAE Federation, which included notification of its apology for hosting the tournament, without indicating the reasons that prompted it to do so,” a statement from the West Continent Federation said.

And he continued, “The UAE Federation said (…) We would like to inform you of our apology for hosting the tenth West Asian Federation Championship for men, thanking you for your efforts that you have made over the past period, for your knowledge and knowledge and your procedures, wishing you continued success and gratitude.”

The Confederation announced that it will “present this book and the decision of the UAE’s apology to the Executive Committee so that it can discuss and study the options available to it regarding the championship, in terms of issuing the final decision on it in accordance with all the data.”

He expressed his “regret over the UAE Federation’s decision to apologise, which came as a surprise, very close to the start of the tournament, and while the administrative, logistical and marketing arrangements for the tournament were moving towards their final stages.”

He added that this “will affect all civil federations that have previously announced their participation in the tournament, and have prepared their teams’ programs accordingly.”

Twelve teams announced their participation: the UAE (the host), Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Yemen, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and the participating Thai team as a guest, at a special invitation from the West Asian Federation.
