Insane test result in Lüneburg: The police measured an alcohol level of 5.5 per mille in a 54-year-old man because of domestic violence.
According to police information from Sunday, the man was under observation for longer before the breath alcohol test and had not been drinking immediately before the alcohol test. Although the police regularly measure high levels of alcohol, this is not an everyday result. “That’s very high,” said a police spokesman.

Since the 54-year-old could still walk and speak normally, according to the police, he was not taken to the station to sober up. Because of the violence against his 47-year-old wife, the 54-year-old was expelled from the couple’s shared apartment and is not allowed to enter it for eight days.
