Egyptian actress Nashwa Mostafa said that she did not have the ability to buy university books
A great controversy was caused by the statements of the Egyptian artist, Nashwa Mustafa, on her television program, about the difference in the standard of living between generations, stressing that her generation was wronged.
The Egyptian artist indicated that she did not have the ability to buy university books, and she was presenting a paper with the terms of her father’s salary in order to obtain books at a reduced or free value.
And she considered that her generation was more oppressed than the current generation, after they emerged from wars and severe economic crises, as she was forced to buy only one set of clothes for the summer, and another set for the winter season, in addition to one black shoe for Eid to fit the school afterwards.
The matter caused one of her followers to attack her, as he commented on her post to confirm that what she is talking about is a word of truth intended to be false.
He demanded that she talk to everyone about her youth as an actress, how much her daily expenses were and her trips to the countries of the world, and whether her children are in public schools or international schools, and where she spends her summer vacation.
The Egyptian artist replied to him, saying: “Who is your king, Hajj Sayed? I am 57 years old.” She continued her response, confirming that she belonged to a poor family.
She said that she was brought up to be “manly”, which she interpreted as being tired and striving to earn money so that her circumstances would be privileged when she was 57 years old.
She stated that she will have an apartment that she owns and a chalet for the summer, and that she will also be able to teach her children the best education, to conclude her response by saying: “I mean, you didn’t get out of your pocket to buy an apartment.”
