Now, the sporting director of Bayern Munich, Hasan Salihamidzic, has come forward saying that Ronaldo expressed his interest in playing for Bayern, but they did not take him into the team because they felt that Ronaldo was not suitable for them financially and in terms of playing style.
Hasan shared the information related to Ronaldo’s transfer in an interview with Bild’s podcast.
“We discussed in the board meeting whether to sign Ronaldo, but our decision was not to sign Ronaldo.
His agent was informed of our decision in the negotiations. Rono was not the right player for us, either financially or in terms of style of play. And his style of play was not our philosophical style,’ Hasan said.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo, who has played three matches in Al Nasr, has scored one goal so far. Al Nasr’s brand and stock values have increased tremendously since the player joined the club.
Al Nasr’s next match is against Al Wehda on February 9.
