After a dramatic and intense week, the stage was set for a duel at the Farm celebrity.
Large farmer Ørnulf Høyer (66) chose Marit Adeleide Andreassen (56) as first champion. She chose to meet Ingrid Vik Lysne (31) in the duel.
It was a historic duel, when the two were to compete in the brand new branch “barrel chess”, for the very first time in Farmen kendis.
– Not good enough
It was Lysne who got to choose the branch, as she was runner-up. Andreassen says that she expected that she would choose exactly barrel chess. It ended with Lysne emerging victorious from the duel.
– I think it was very stylish and brave that she chose that branch. We were allowed to be a bit historic, as it was the first time with that game in Farmen kendis.
Lysne has practiced barrel chess on several occasions, but Andreassen did not.
– I simply haven’t done it, but I have received very good advice from Trond. If I hadn’t gotten all the great advice from him, I would probably have made a complete fool of myself today. Then I would have cycled down soup land, that is, says the actor.
She thinks the lack of practice may have been the reason why she had to leave the farm.
– I lost because I wasn’t good enough. I just have to be completely honest and say that if I had practiced a little more, I might have been able to create a strategy or create some paths.
The toughest thing on the farm
Andreassen usually works as an actor and felt the transition from everyday life to reality.
– The toughest thing has been coping with a type of social setting that I was perhaps not so prepared for that I would be so put out of. After all, I am used to relating to direction and to a strictness in relation to what can and cannot be said.
– This is not film, theater or TV. This is reality, and letting go of that control completely – I wasn’t prepared to be so put off by it.
The actor especially felt this during the first weeks.
– People who have been in reality shows a lot are perhaps used to being allowed to say things directly, without any form of correction or direction. They are applauded for that – that is, being allowed to be themselves fully.
– I thought: “Is it possible? Is there no one who has folk customs here, or am I the one who has no social antennae?’
I wanted to give up
Andreassen says that there were certain things she kept secret for periods of time.
– During certain periods in there, I kept it a secret how extremely heavy I thought it was, and how much I wanted to give up. I went on quite a few walks by myself, far into the forest here, she says and continues:
– Not many people in there know that much about me.
Today she regrets one thing in particular.
– I regret a little that I wasn’t more observant of the game right from the start, and that I wasn’t more observant about giving too much of myself. At the same time, I have hardly told anyone in there anything about myself and my private life. I know a lot about many of the others, but I haven’t confided in anyone in there anyway. It’s weird stuff.
– Saved me
Despite the fact that she lost the duel and had to leave the Farmen kjendis farm, she thinks the outcome was perfectly fine. Andreassen and Lysne became good friends during their stay, and the actor believes that Lysne deserved to win.
However, it was not only Lysne that the actor became close to. Among other things, she singles out Malin Nesvoll (33), who had to resign the same week that Andreassen quit.
– We had an incredibly good relationship, because Malin simply saved me at the beginning of week two. Then I hadn’t slept for four or five days, and moved up into the “snorke bow”, as we call it. There, Malin read aloud to me every night, so I fell asleep like a child. We had a lot of fun.
When Nesvoll had to leave the farm, the actor’s relationship with other participants became stronger, especially Sofie Karlstad (25) and Ingrid Vik Lysne.
Now the Torpet celebrity is on the agenda for Andreassen, where she has the opportunity to fight her way back to Steinsjøen farm.
